Startup Name Forge ("the service") is a free, no-login web tool operated by Choppy Toast. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

What we collect

The service stores your selected language and saved favorite names locally in your browser via localStorage. Generator inputs (industry, tone, length) are kept in the URL so you can share a configuration link. We do not transmit your inputs or favorites to our servers.

.com availability checks

To verify whether a generated name is available as a .com domain, your browser sends a DNS query to Cloudflare's public resolver (cloudflare-dns.com) over HTTPS. We do not see, log, or store these queries. They are governed by Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Analytics and ads

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate usage and Google AdSense to fund the free tool. These services may set cookies and collect device, browser, and location data per their own policies. You can opt out of personalized advertising at adssettings.google.com.

No accounts, no email

We do not require a login. We do not collect your email unless you write to us.
